A Canon Powershot Elph 300 HS can take videos in excellent quality for those events that are worth recording. Smart phones do have this capacity to take videos; however, the quality is not that good in all the smart phones that are available in the market. The resolution is usually small and when the people in the video move, the video looks pixilated. That would not be a problem if you have this camera. The videos are in excellent quality, unlike with smart phones.
